How To Seat A Walk-in Party
Where: (1) there are multiple areas, (2) there are events that day, (3) you want to collect guest info and (4) there may be a pending wait-list.
1. Go to table view and click on "+" button in the top-right of the screen.

Select "Walk-in or Wait-list".
Select the number of guests (group size)
The system will ask to select in which area to seat the guest.
If you only have one area defined, this step will be skipped.
Select the Area and click on "Confirm Selected Preference".
Click "Seat Now", since there is no wait required.
If the system selected table is OK, click on "Guest" (bottom right) to enter the guest info.
OR: Click on the selected table and the orange highlight will disappear.
The banner (bottom of the screen) will not let you procced until you have selected a table or tables to accommodate the group size.
Table in gray have bookings assigned. Tables in white have no existing bookings.
Pro Tip: Server management icons (bottom left) will indicate which server is next in line for a new party. Therefore, the host should seat the guest in that section matching the color code of the server .
Once you have picked suitable table or a large orange check mark will show in the upper right corner of the screen.
In this case, the party has been moved to table A1.
Select "Guest" (bottom right) to enter the guest details.
Best practice is to search for the guest (1st or 2nd name or phone number) to avoid duplicate profiles for the guest.
If the guest doesn't exist, the key information to collect is the full name and cell number.
Internal visit notes and Special requests: Details entered here only relate to the current booking.
Table preferences, Notes about guest and Celebration Icons: Details entered here will remain on the guest profile and show up on every future booking.
